Stowe-rrific!
I went on my second airplane trip to Stowe, Vermont. Mommy and daddy had a wedding to go to. We had lots of fun and I got a lot of attention from our friends. We dubbed the weekend "Six Parents and a Baby!"

This is as close to the snow as I got.
I slept so well in Vermont. Must have been the cool, mountain air.
Mommy and daddy got to go on a sleigh ride. I stayed behind and held down the fort.
Amy and Marcello have four kids (who are at home in Chicago!).
Jamie and Mark have three kids (who are also at home in Chicago!).

My First Playdate
This was my first playdate. It was impromptu, so both Chloe and I slept through it. What fun!

Meeting the Braun's from NYC
In November, my brother and sister-in-law came in with their three kids to meet Noah. We had a great weekend!
Hanging with Uncle Perry & Aunt Vivienne.
New York cousins Jack, Nicole & Andrew
Me and Mommy with cousins Andrew, Thomas, Nicole, Jack and Daniel.
Some cuddle time with Nicole.
Nana Lee and her ten grandchildren - Natalie, Daniel, Nicole, Noah, Emma, Josh, Jack, Thomas, Andrew & Sam. Jack is the oldest ( he is 3 weeks shy of his 14th birthday in this photo) and Noah is the youngest at 11 weeks.
It's hard to see everyone, but these are all 19 Brauns!

We're Back
Who was I kidding that I would have time to update this blog on a regular basis. HA! I am lucky that I have been able to work a shower into Noah's sleep schedule.(Mike and Noah are both grateful, I'm sure.)
Things are going great. Noah is getting bigger and bigger. He smiles now and talks. He is very alert and interactive and Mike and I are having a blast with him.
He is taking his first plane ride this weekend. We are flying to Baltimore for a wedding - Glenn who Mike grew up with and was a groomsman at our wedding. I am nervous about flying with Noah as he is very distracted by lights and fights going to sleep. If he doesn't settle down, there will be lots of crying in our row. Not to mention it'll be smelly if he decides to go number 2. His deposits stink!!!
Once I go back to work I should have some time to update with more detail. Don't ask while I'll have more time once I go back to work, but I think I will. For the time being I'll try to do a better job at getting pictures up here.
So here we go...

Bris
We had the bris at our house on Saturday, September 1. We were very fortunate to have so many family and friends join us for this special occasion. Melissa's brother Doug, kept Noah calm plying him with kiddie size amounts of Mogan David and Mike's cousin Stephanie who came in from Arizona for the bris and our nephew Josh shared a reading during the bris.
Noah was a total trooper and did not cry too much (maybe it was the wine that kept him calm :)

First Visitors
Noah's first visitor was Nana Lee, Melissa's mom. This is Nana Lee's 10th (yes, 10th!) grandchild and she is a pro! Noah brings the count to seven grandsons and three granddaughters.
Grandma and Grandpa Steele (Arlene and Rich) were Noah's second and third visitors. He is the third grandchild on the Steele side and they are all boys.

Noah Scott Steele
Noah Scott Steele was born on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 1:00 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 20 inches long. He was born with a full head of hair and quite a dashing young man.
Noah is named after my father, Norman who passed away in 1995
and Scott is for both of Mike's grandmothers, Sally and Sadye. All three were very special people and we are very proud to name Noah after such wonderful and loving family members.
Noah, Mike and I spent four nights in the hospital which was a god send and came home last Wednesday. Noah has had lots of visitors and I have lots of pictures to share. Here are a couple from the hospital and our first night home.
